Detect & qualify company leads from anonymous visitors in Mautic

It also enriches that information with company properties like location, industry or revenue. And, being part of Mautic Marketing Automation, you can add behavior information to the mix.

Yes. Floodlight for B2B is implemented as a deeply integrated Mautic plugin plus an API service.

Everything is based on Mautic as the platform. Floodlight for B2B uses the visitor's IP address for the company lookup.

Once the company is identified, additional data (business size, industry, location, tech stack, …) is pulled from various sources, and made available to Mautic.

The rest is… Mautic.

Yes. The free plan includes all Floodlight features. The only restriction is the number of company lookups per month. If you need more, you can upgrade to a Pro plan (S, M or L) or top up with Credit Packs.

Higher-volume Pro plans (M and L) are available here. Floodlight is also built to avoid unnecessary lookups, for example by skipping dial-up and other non-business IPs, so your credits go further.

Need extra credits just once? You can stock up with Credit Packs.

You can monitor the usage in your Mautic dashboard. Also, we’ll notify you before you run out. You can switch to a higher plan or add a Credit Pack at any time to keep full API-based detection running.

Once your monthly credits are used up, API-based detection pauses until your credits refresh. In the meantime, the plugin automatically falls back to simple DNS/WHOIS-based detection, which returns fewer and less accurate results without interrupting your workflow.

IP addresses count as personal data, so GDPR applies.

Besides the GDPR, the EU’s ePrivacy rules (e.g. in Germany: § 25 TDDDG) apply to the tracking script, while similar laws worldwide include UK GDPR/PECR, US state laws such as CCPA/CPRA, and Brazil’s LGPD.
Floodlight identifies companies from IP addresses, doesn’t store the IP, and acts as your data processor under a data processing agreement (DPA; German: AVV).
You remain responsible for consent and your privacy notice, so list Floodlight in your consent manager and privacy policy. We’re happy to provide ready-made text.

For the Hosted plan, we’re developing a fully local lookup option. Lookups run entirely on your own infrastructure (similar to Mautic's local geolocation lookup database), so no visitor data is sent to Floodlight for B2B servers or any third-party service.

Only companies. Floodlight uses the visitor’s IP address to find the company behind it, then adds company data such as industry, size and location. It does not identify individual visitors or look up names or email addresses. If a visitor is already a known contact in your Mautic (for example through a form or email click), Mautic’s own tracking applies as usual, and you remain responsible for consent and your privacy notice.

No. Floodlight uses Mautic’s existing tracking, ideally hosted by you.

Floodlight relies on Mautic’s tracking, so detection only happens for visitors who have consented to tracking. If your consent manager blocks the Mautic script until consent is given, as we recommend, visitors who decline are not tracked and no lookup is made. Your detection numbers therefore depend on your consent rate.
